Editing and Proofreading

As part of my course requirements for Technical Editing (ENGL 7809), I edited three existing repair guides through the iFixit Technical Writing Project. The iFixit process involved submitting a proposal, addressing editing flags, and submitting completed work for approval. Two of the guides needed revised introductions while one needed grammar edits. The project gave me an opportunity to learn about the products involved in each manual and make revisions that would fit within the iFixit editing guidelines and improve readability for the intended audience.
